2. Eligibility Requirements

To participate in fantasy hockey contests on our Platform, you must:

• Be 18 years or older - This is a strict requirement with no exceptions
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• Not be located in a jurisdiction where fantasy sports contests are prohibited
• Maintain only one account per person

3. Account Registration and Security

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your password confidential and secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Not share your account with others or allow others to use it

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or provide false information.

4. Contest Rules and Gameplay

Fantasy Hockey Contest Structure:

• Contests are skill-based competitions based on real NHL player performance
• You build lineups by selecting players within a salary cap constraint
• Points are awarded based on actual player statistics as outlined in our Point System
• Contest results are determined solely by player performance and scoring rules
• All scoring decisions are final once contests are officially scored

Fair Play Requirements:

• No collusion, coordination, or sharing of lineups with other participants
• No use of automated tools, bots, or scripts to create lineups
• No exploitation of platform vulnerabilities or errors
• No creation of multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• No sharing of insider information or non-public data

5. Scoring and Contest Resolution

Fantasy Hockey Road uses official NHL statistics to calculate fantasy points:

• Scoring follows the detailed rules outlined on our Point System page
• Statistics are sourced from official NHL data providers
• Stat corrections issued by the NHL may result in score adjustments
• Contests are considered final after the official scoring period ends
• We reserve the right to void contests if significant errors occur
• Disputes must be submitted within 72 hours of contest completion

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Platform staff
• Use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate usernames or content
• Attempt to manipulate contest outcomes through unfair means
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Platform
• Scrape, data mine, or collect user information
• Transmit viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Impersonate other users or Fantasy Hockey Road staff
• Engage in any illegal activities through the Platform

Violation of these conduct rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality on Fantasy Hockey Road are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:

• Platform design, layout, and user interface
• Logo, branding, and visual elements
• Scoring algorithms and contest mechanics
• Software, code, and technical infrastructure
• Content, text, graphics, and images

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Fantasy Hockey Road is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy or reliability of contest results or statistics
• Security against unauthorized access or data breaches

We make no guarantees about specific outcomes, performance, or results.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fantasy Hockey Road and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Lost profits, data, or opportunities
• Technical failures, server downtime, or platform errors
• Unauthorized access to your account or information
• Disputes between users or third-party actions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) to access the Platform in the past 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Fantasy Hockey Road from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions
• Your use or misuse of the Platform
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your violation of applicable laws or regulations

12. Account Termination

• Behavior harmful to the Platform or other users
• Legal or regulatory requirements

You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your use of Fantasy Hockey Road shall be resolved through:

• Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of class actions

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in our operating jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the intent.
